About Me
Hi, I’m Pam, an engineer by day and a maker by heart. I work in shipbuilding and design, where I spend my time buried in spreadsheets and dreaming about my next project.
Some days, it feels like I’m watching my life drift away in a sea of formulas and deadlines. That’s where my workshop comes in—it’s my escape, my happy place, and the reason my house isn’t overrun with half-finished creations.

I’ve always loved making things. Whether it’s experimenting with new tools or binge-watching tutorials on YouTube, I can’t help but dive into new techniques and challenges.
I’m currently on my third CNC machine. My first one was a second-hand bargain—I wasn’t about to spend a fortune on something I might only use once. But as it turns out, I’m hooked. Give me a nice piece of white oak and a cup of tea, and I’m in my element.
When I’m not in my workshop, you’ll find me outdoors, paddle boarding or hiking the countryside with my Spaniel, Buster, who has an uncanny ability to find every muddy puddle within a mile.
I grew up in Northern Ireland but now live in Yorkshire, where my single garage doubles as my workshop. It’s a constant challenge to keep it clean and organised, but it’s also where I get to create the things that bring me the most joy. If I could, I’d keep every single piece I make, but let’s face it—I’d need a second house for that.
Instead, I share my creations with others. For me, making isn’t just about the finished product; it’s about the journey, the mistakes, and the little moments of triumph along the way. If you’ve ever found yourself staring at something you’ve made, thinking, “I can’t believe I did that,” you’ll know exactly how I feel.
Thanks for stopping by—it means the world to me. Whether you’re here to find something special or just to follow along with my journey, welcome to my little corner of creativity.
– Pam
